Abigail Matsapa was born and raised in Zimbabwe and has lived in Edinburgh for the last 20 years where she has been a member of AFM Edinburgh. She worked as a nurse for 26 years before studying theology at International Christian College (ICC) in Glasgow. Since 2017, Abigail has led the church with compassion and dedication. She is dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming space where everyone can find solace, support, and a sense of belonging.

When not working, Abigail enjoys running and hiking and reading (she has a never ending reading list). She is mum to two adult children.
